Boarding Services

We go beyond the hoof by offering board on track living systems to ensure your horse(s) are able to have constant access to freedom, friends, and forage. Research continues to show that horses need a species appropriate environment to maintain good overall health. The Paddock Paradise model by Jaime Jackson is one that stimulates a natural equine environment based on movement and socialization patterns of dynamically sound horses. We are creating a perfect environment for healing and preventing today’s most prevalent killers of domestic horses (laminitis, hoof complications, colic, ulcers, etc) by implementing natural feeding patterns that are consistent with the equine digestive system. A safe, controlled, all forage diet is integral to equine overall wellness - after all, food is medicine. Each horse has ample space with a 20ft wide track all around and large feeding areas. If a stall is needed for good reason, that can be arranged. Mucking and feeding will be done once daily.

Each animal on the property will be fed an all forage diet, adding compressed hay where needed, specific for them. Every horse is different, therefore we take that into account. Whether your horse is a performance horse, trail horse, senior, trainee, or anything in between, he/she will get the best care possible to ensure their health and happiness. We feed an all forage diet to ensure yet another species appropriate detail.

Board includes access to trails both on property (40 acres) and the Shawnee National Forrest , an outdoor arena, & obstacles, and coordination of equine healthcare services in a timely manner for all. Optional services are available, including but not limited to massage, chiropractics, training, lessons, kinesiology taping, and deworming. We also provide support for horses needing post veterinary and rehabilitation care.

‘Paddock Paradise’ aims to open the door to the missing freedom and lifestyle of their natural world by situating and propelling the horse forward in an unprecedented environmental configuration that, holistically speaking, both stimulates and facilitates natural movement.

Track Living - $425/mo

We provide your horse with freedom, forage, and friends in one of two track living systems. He/she will get the constant movement to help with maintaining fantastic overall health traveling as nature intended between food and water. Round bales are offered 24/7 and grass grazing can be arranged if needed, horse dependent.

What do we feed?

Reining It In has opted to feed compressed hay where necessary in addition to 24/7 round bale access and loose salt to keep the nutritional requirements of each horse optimally balanced. Each horse is different, though an all forage diet is heavily focused on and emphasized, even in the addition of balancers at owner cost atop the included forage base of compressed hay. Round bales will vary through the year with a mix of both grass and alfalfa.

Where Horses and Humans Grow Together

  • Training is a lifestyle here, not an event.

    • Horses are not left to regress between lessons or handled inconsistently.

    • Calm, consistent, and communicative daily interactions

    • On-site groundwork, behavior refinement, or advanced riding support is available without needing a trailer.

  • Hooves are addressed as part of the horse’s whole body—not in isolation.

    • Hoof care provider on site who understands the role posture, movement, and diet play in hoof health.

    • Early intervention for imbalances, flares, or behavior changes related to the hooves.

    • No rushed or unfamiliar farriers—trimming is peaceful, mindful, and tailored to your horse’s long-term soundness.
