Mounted lessons are all about putting horsemanship into practice while you’re in the saddle. I’ll guide you through fun, structured exercises and activities designed to match your current skill level and goals. Some days we’ll focus on balance and body position, other days on learning how to give clear cues or improving communication with your horse. Every ride is different, but one thing stays the same—you’ll be building a true partnership with horses while gaining confidence, clarity, and connection.

That’s perfectly okay—in fact, it’s one of the best places to start! My program is built to meet you right where you are. If you’re brand new, we’ll begin with the basics at a pace that feels comfortable, making sure you feel safe and confident every step of the way. Along the journey, I’ll blend in other lesson types—like groundwork, handling, or theory—so you develop a well-rounded understanding of horses, not just riding. You’ll be gently challenged as you grow, but always with guidance and support, helping you become not only a capable rider but a mindful horseman with true partnership at the core.

I consider your skill level, confidence, and personality, then pair you with a horse of ours that helps you grow while keeping you safe and supported.

Yes! Many students combine mounted lessons with groundwork, handling, or theory sessions so they grow into a complete horseman—not just a rider. To make this easy and affordable, I offer package options that bundle different lesson types together, giving you flexibility while supporting steady progress.
